CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2010 EMARKETER OF THE YEAR Congratulations to KeyLime Cove Indoor Waterpark Resort as the overall winner in the 2010 competition. KeyLime Cove, a family vacation destination inspired by the Florida Keys, was named eMarketer of the Year for its creative use of the web, and social networks in particular, to engage guests, deliver brand experiences, and build relationships with consumers. A redesigned website with large, inviting photos and an intuitive web booking engine show guests all the resort has to offer—while creating a fully interactive shopping and booking experience. The resort's bold strategy of featuring consumer reviews directly on the home page gives confidence to consumers as they shop online. Promotions on Facebook have tripled KeyLime Cove's Facebook following, while behind-the-scenes tours for family-focused bloggers further build community with the resort’s target market. These strategies are complemented by a mobile website that makes the connection with families on the go. As a result of its emarketing innovations, KeyLime Cove doubled online reservations in 2010, now generating 37 percent of its business from the Internet. |
