The world’s first super boutique hotel opening in Leicester Square in June 2020 selects TravelClick’s full suite of services
NEW YORK, October 17, 2019 – TravelClick announces the signing of a new multi-year deal with The Londoner, the latest project by privately-owned hotel group Edwardian Hotels London, opening in London’s Leicester Square in June 2020. This is Edwardian Hotels London’s first stand-alone hotel to be part of TravelClick’s marketing and distribution services and solutions. This deal strengthens TravelClick’s existing partnership with Edwardian Hotels London following a 41-year agreement with the group that was signed in 2013. With the opening of The Londoner, Edwardian Hotels London extends its overall contract with TravelClick to 50 years.
The partnership reflects a growing desire for unique hotels, new experiences and the rise of alternative accommodations has led to an explosion in the number of independent hotel properties that retain boutique identities and deliver unique experiences.
Boutique in feeling yet staggering in scale, The Londoner is set to transform the city’s hotel landscape and hospitality scene. Edwardian Hotels London continues to be prolific in the hospitality space by delivering the world’s first ‘Super Boutique’ hotel, solidifying the new property as an icon in London’s luxury hospitality scene.
The hotel will open across 16 stories with 350 guest rooms and suites and a tower penthouse with panoramic views; two private screening rooms; a mix of six concept eateries, bars and a tavern, including alfresco dining on the ground floor and a contemporary Japanese lounge bar with a rooftop terrace and fire pit; plus an expansive ballroom suited for any occasion, a variety of meeting spaces and a results-driven gym and spa.
This signing extends the already deep partnership between Edwardian Hotels London and TravelClick and further demonstrates the versatility of TravelClick’s products for all sizes of hotels, groups, and chains. The TravelClick total solution – Central Reservation System (CRS) with full distribution; Website; Search Engine Optimization (SEO); Digital Media; GDS Media; VoicePro; Sales and Catering; Consortia – will provide hotels with leading-edge distribution, booking, sales and marketing capabilities whilst maintaining a strong sense of individuality and independence.
